The modifier derivation helped me a lot to memorize classifiers

Another problem for me is that I have become tired of learning entire

long it would take for me to learn a new system over.

This is true for me as well.

Another suggestion for a minor change to reduce the overall CS preponderance is to use consonant clusters to begin some classifiers.  If classifiers beginning with "sk", "sp", and "st" were added to the inventory, then there would be 9 unvoiced consonants available for classifiers.  Retaining 13 vowel (cluster)s "a, aw, ay, e, ea, i, o, oa, oy, u, wa, we, wi" would provide 117 possible finals for classifiers, compared to the current 104 (6 consonants * 17 vowels + cayu + kawe).  The downside to using classifiers beginning with "s" + C is that derived voiced modifiers would begin with voiced "z" + C clusters, i.e. "zb", "zd", and "zg".  While these aren't especially difficult to pronounce, they are rare in Indo-European languages, outside of Slavic languages.

I was hoping to become fairly good with the current sound scheme just to hear what it sounds like from a fluent speaker.
